    Article summary

An item list shows on the result page shows in list form how many units per product a user needs for their application. The item list is therefore a recommendation logic for simple calculations.

The configuration of an item list requires the creation of simple formulas for addition or multiplication in the section Algorithm. The matrix also requires values for calculating the quantity per product.

    🔎Example: Item list

Imagine configuring your dream car on the dealer's website. A vehicle requires four tires. For two cars, the item list shows eight tires. The calculation of 2 cars (= information in the questionnaire) x 4 tires (= stored values in the matrix) = 8 (= recommended tire quantity on the result page) is done by the platform.

⚠️ Note: Special features and limitations

    • In contrast to the matrix and the filters, the item list allows less leeway when customizing the CSS styling. The result page always displays a list.

    • The item list does not contain a navigation bar on the result page. As a result, users can no longer click on certain questions after completing the questionnaire to change their answers afterwards. This only works by restarting the selector.
