        The prompt implemented the style of how your AI should respond through your instruction .

        Depending on how you phrase the prompt, the AI will:

        • answer objectively or creatively,

        • interpret carefully or courageously,

        • quote a lot or formulate freely,

        • offer product alternatives.

        📝 Example: Your initial prompt for the product expert

        "They are an expert on [manufacturer's] products and only use official documents without drawing their own conclusions."

        This means:

        • The AI answers very fact-based

        • She will not make any assumptions or interpretations

        • If something is not in the PDF, she says: "This information is not available"

        • It gives the page number of the source (e.g. "Source: p. 12")

        Example in the application:

        • You ask, "Is Company Y's Model X laptop suitable for video editing?"

        • Response with this prompt: "The document does not specify the suitability of Model X for video editing. (Source: pp. 3–4)"

        The AI remains strictly bound to the text, even if it could actually "guess" that an i7 processor and 16 GB of RAM would be suitable for it.

        🔄 How can you change the prompt?

        Depending on what you want, you can customize the "personality" and behavior of the AI:

        You can use your prompt to customize the writing style of the response to your liking

        👉 Prompt variant:

        Formulate your answers in a friendly and understandable way for end users, even if the information is not complete.

        🔄 Result:

        Instead of: "Information not available."

        Now rather: "Unfortunately, there are no direct references to the video suitability of this laptop in the available documents. Do you want to filter by processor performance or graphics card?"

        You can use your prompts to adapt the response to the target group (e.g. tech-savvy, laypeople, purchasing team)

        👉 Prompt variant:

        Explain technical features in a way that non-technical readers can understand.

        🔄 Result:

        Instead of: "Processor x7-1365U, 16 GB LPDDR5 RAM"

        Now: "A fast processor of the latest generation with sufficient RAM for demanding applications."

        You can use your prompt to allow the AI to make interpretations if you wish.

        👉 Prompt variant:

        If the document contains technical features that suggest suitability, you may make a cautious assessment – with reference to the basis of this assessment.

        🔄 Result:

        The AI does not simply exclude, but says e.g.:

        "Based on the x7 processor and 16 GB of RAM (source: p. 4), the Model X laptop can probably be suitable for video editing."

        You can use your prompt to allow the AI to adjust the output format in the chat window. Here are a few examples.

        👉 Prompt variant:

        Always answer in tabular form | Please always answer as Bulltpoints | Please reply in an email template | Please reply in html, json or similar

        🔄 Result:

        Instead of a pure continuous text, the AI now answers in your desired form. Just keep in mind that a generated response in emoji or tabletle form might not help your users.

        ⛔ Coordinate product recommendations via the prompt

        Does the prompt show multiple products or alternatives? Should alternative products be shown?

        • We strongly recommend that you do not provide prompt instructions on the inclusion or exclusion of products. It's better to train your AI through the feedback function to display real products.

        • The Custom Prompt is specially set so that the truth of the answers always lies in your company's product data.

        What can happen here?

        With your current prompt, the AI is strictly fact-based:

        • "They are experts in [company's] products and use only information from the official documents. No interpretations. Answer precisely and objectively as an expert in the electronics industry."

        • The AI will only answer exactly what is in the document.

        If several laptops are specifically compared in the document, she can say:

        • "Model A has a longer battery life than Model B (source: p. 7)."

        • But it will not propose alternatives on its own if they are not directly contrasted in the text.

        Possible customization (not recommended)

        • If the document mentions several products with similar characteristics, you may name them as possible alternatives – without your own evaluation, but with reference to the available information.

        • "In addition to Model A, Model B could also be suitable, as it has comparable technical features. (Source: pp. 3, 5)"

        • If you want the AI to name several products or show alternatives without inventing freely: "Stick to the source so that the answer remains reliable and comprehensible."

        💡 Note on effective prompt creation

        Let the common AI models help you with the prompt creation:

        • A good option is to use the well-known AI models from the Internet to implement the requirements for your prompt.

        • To do this, copy the prompt from the workbench into the AI and state your wishes and improvements.
